Exploit Interactive Guidelines for Graphics

Graphic formats to be used in the magazine

Exploit Interactive will accommodate a variety of graphic formats. The files should be no larger than 50K, without prior consultation with the editors.

Graphic formats:

• GIF
• JPG
• TIFF
• PICT
• BMP

Video formats:

• MPEG, Quicktime, AVI

Using Screen Captures

Screen captures can be prepared easily using software such as PaintShop Pro 4, SnagIt, and more traditional methods using the print-screen key.

Screen Capture Sample:

The following screen capture was prepared with PaintShop Pro 4. The browser screen size was adjusted to reduce the size of the image, colours were reduced to 256, and then saved in GIF format. We suggest that you keep the image at 500 x 500 pixels or smaller.
